Visual Abyss

Pleasure of cooking.. not for me, I am quite content with clicking pictures of great looking (and tasting) food dishes prepared by my friends (in this case). The chicken kababs look delicious, though frankly I haven't done much in this pic, its all D5000. I got to enjoy the wonderful prepration, atleast you can share its good looks.

A pink rose flower, looks so lovely. I clicked this pic and became curious on what type of rose is this, to my surpise this is a indegineous breed from right here in Maharashtra, India.

Remeber the childhood days of playing in rain or a pool, this shot reminded me of just that. Summer has started to raise its head, evident from the acts of these birds.

Love the way the other two birds are trying to save themselve from sudden shower from the one in the middle.

Was just playing around with my cam in my front yard when I caught this little fellow hopping around. Too hard to resist this unusually calm squirrel.

Another HDR shot, captured this sometime ago but never composed it as an HDR.

My first attempt at an HDR image. Shot 3 of the same with EF at -2, 0 and +2 using a tripod with 1/250 shutter speed at 5.6 F, notice full detail of the lamp as well as the wall on the side. The wall on back was out of focus in all three shots. Many more to come :)

Didn't come out as sharp as I wanted, maybe due to evening lighting conditions. Although my love with my new DSLR is increasing with every pic. Shot at Bear Mountain, NY
