I am usually more excited by nature and its elements and never really forayed into the world of portraits. But now with such a beautiful face to click who can resist the temptation. Hence, presenting my first real portrait. Used my 50mm prime (and no flash, just white light of 40watt tube light) to get the crispness and clarity to the portrait and basic touch up to flare up the colors a bit.
Let me know if you like it and of course comments are always welcome.

ReplyDeleteThanks Sameer :)
ReplyDeleteGreat to know that you have got the 50mm prime :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot - I like the way it is framed. The cap seems to be more in focus than the face - its probably all those colours :)
Try taking portraits with 2 light sources (flash or continuous) and try diffusing the lights. The 2 light sources usually cut out the shadows created by each other and the whole frame is well lit.
@Thomas : I am on a lookout for a good flash gun for my Nikon. Pop up flash does not do justice to indoor shots (hence just the continuous light source).
